My work represents themes of home and family life, the physical and mental spaces I inhabit. Through photo collage, I explore visual-spatial investigations from my personal surroundings. By deconstructing the architectural home life, my works become representations of boundaries and the ephemera in relation to self and site. I use a personal photo archive and collage processes to reconfigure, cut, and layer image fragmentation of these surfaces. Through material and analog collage, I explore the materiality in connections with personal memory -- and how environments act as a portal of escapism, personal familial, and confined spaces.
